Area Manager – JB Botswana

JB Group is a premium lifestyle brand offering men and women’s fashion, athleisure, accessories and sportswear. We are currently looking for an AREA MANAGER; Maun Region situated in MAUN.

JOB PURPOSE
To manage and assume overall responsibility for the success of JB Stores in Gaborone by directing all operational aspects of each store and driving sales whilst minimizing costs.

GENERAL
• Formulate fruitful business development strategies to ensure long-term success
• Set standards and objectives for different stores and departments
• Optimize and oversee operations to ensure efficiency
• Lead a team of store managers towards effective collaboration and attainment of goals
• Undertake sound financial management to ensure stores are profitable and stay within budget
• Ensure compliance with company’s policies and operational guidelines
• Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions
• Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it
• Report to senior executives on progress and issues
• Assist upper management in decisions for expansion
• Manage stock transfers and stock maintenance
• Responsible for stock loss
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in Retail Management as a minimum qualification or equivalent to
• Proven successful minimum 5 years’ experience as a Retail Manager will be an added advantage

Compensation will be commensurate with qualification and experience for deserving Candidate.
