ANALYST: ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT X2

Position Purpose

To assist in the delivery, implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework to assist Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) in its realisation of business objectives and continual development. The role contributes to the identification, measurement, analysis and monitoring of risk areas in the business environment.

This role contributes to the development and implementation of risk management strategies and programmes through the coordination of departmental risk profiles, risk management and risk control action plans.

  • Early detection of internal control breakdowns
  • Execution and benefits tracking of Risk Management Initiatives/Interventions
  • Training of Risk Champion or Officer network at Business Centres

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Statistics, Economics, Strategic Managment, Business Administration,  Accounting, Finance, Sciences or Engineering or related field from a recognised university.
  • A post graduate qualification in Risk Management or related fields will be an added advantage
  • Professional Certification in risk management (eg CERM, CRA, ISO 31000 etc) will be an added advantange.
  • Minimum of COP in Short and or long-term insurance will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of five (05) years of relevant post qualification experience in risk management environment.
  • Exposure to transformation or related fields will be advantageous
  • Good comprehension of insurance plants including motor, fire, file, property, funeral covers, pension plans etc.
