Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping, and contributing to the overall financial health of YONA.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions:

Process and record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reimbursements.

Bank Reconciliation:

Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Invoice Processing:

Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing to clients and partners.

Expense Management:

Monitor and manage employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely reimbursement.

Financial Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Budget Support:

Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting processes and variance analysis.
Audit Assistance: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
