Exploration Investment Company Botswana (EICB) is a state-owned enterprise established by the Government of Botswana to drive systematic and targeted mineral exploration and resource mobilization. Operating under the Companies Act with its own governance structures and board of directors, EICB partners with private sector entities to de-risk early-stage mineral exploration, facilitate funding access for private explorers, and promote citizen economic participation to enhance Botswana’s mining investment appeal.
