Botswana-U.Penn Partnership

The Botswana-UPenn Partnership (BUP) is a collaborative academic health initiative established in 2001 between the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, the Botswana Ministry of Health, and the University of Botswana. Operating an office in Gaborone, BUP focuses on building local healthcare capacity, advancing medical education, and conducting impactful clinical research to address key health priorities such as infectious diseases and paediatric global health in Botswana.
