Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority

The Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) is the statutory body responsible for regulating the communications sector in Botswana. This mandate encompasses telecommunications, internet and information and communications technologies (ICTs), radio communications, broadcasting, and postal services. Established under the Communications Regulatory Authority Act of 2012, BOCRA oversees sector licensing, standards setting, consumer protection, and fair competition to foster an enabling environment for accessible, reliable, and affordable communication services across the country.
