Job Description

The university seeks to fill the above vacancy in the Students Service Department

Main purpose of the job:

Provide nursing services and coordinate health care interventions for students.

Core Responsibilities:

Diagnosis and treatment of common ailments
Support and management of personal health care plans for identified students
Referrals to external facilities as required
General nursing services as required
Create awareness of health issues for disease prevention as needed
Stock and budget control
Monitor the provision of health care to learners and staff
Refer students to hospitals and clinics if necessary

Position Requirements:

Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing or relevant qualifications, active registration with health authorities.

Working Experience:

Experience: 3-5 years post qualification .experience in an emergency room environment Having worked in a Tertiary institution as a Campus nurse will be an added advantage
