LOCATION: MMG – Khoemacau Copper Mine

CONTRACT TYPE: 5 year Fixed Term Contract

REPORTING LINE: The Emulsion Tanker Operator will report to the Technical Officer.

CORE PURPOSE OF JOB: To safely and efficiently load, transport and deliver emulsion products to various Khoemacau portals while complying with company procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
– Delivery of emulsion to various Khoemacau Copper Mine portals
– Ensure loaded consignment is secure and comply with all safety and legal requirements
– Perform pre-trip, on-route and post trip inspection of the vehicle
– Report all defects to Maintenance department
– Keep the vehicle clean and good condition
– Comply with rules and regulations
– Perform preventive maintenance i.e greasing, pump inspections
– Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:
– At least a Cambridge O’Level/BGCSE/IGCSE certificate.
– Valid Extra Heavy-Duty license (EC)
– Valid PRDP license (Dangerous goods)
– Dangerous Good Transpiration Certificate
– At least 5 years’ experience, 2 of which are in a Mining environment
– Must be a Motswana
– Must be able to speak and write both Setswana and English
