Job Description

Sprint Couriers is seeking a highly competent and experienced IT Infrastructure & Systems Manager to oversee and manage its IT environment, supporting approximately 55 branches. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability, security and optimal performance of the company’s servers, networks, systems and digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s servers and network infrastructure across all branches.
• Oversee network connectivity between branches and Head Office, including infrastructure setup for new branch openings.
• Monitor system performance, availability and network connectivity to minimise downtime.
• Ensure IT security through effective firewalls, antivirus, access controls and data protection measures.
• Manage data backups, recovery and disaster recovery arrangements.
• Oversee the courier operating system, company email, website, cloud services and application hosting.
• Liaise with ISPs and external IT service providers to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server, network and systems-related challenges.
• Identify and implement IT improvements to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certifications in Microsoft, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in IT infrastructure and systems management.
• Practical experience managing multi-branch networks, servers, cloud-based systems and IT security.
• Demonstrated experience in disaster recovery, data protection and network administration.
• Must be proactive, reliable and security-conscious.
• Ability to manage and support a multi-branch IT environment.
• Experience with courier operating systems will be an added advantage.
• Specialised training on the company’s operating system may be provided.
