Key Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for overall of management and control of all aspects of Pre-Contract, execution and Post Contract stages.
• Planning and resourcing of works.
• Quantifying, measuring and ordering of materials/consumables.
• Assigning and supervising teams to achieve planned targets.
• Managing day to day site office work, utilization, implementation and technical consultations engaged on client assignment.
• Prepares reports on the performance of contractors and submit for evaluation.
• Reporting to the Project Manager on progress works and site issues.
• Prepares budget relating to civil engineering components of the project.
• Provides advice to the projects director on all matters relating to civil engineering and compliance with relevant acts, code of practice, regulations and safety requirements.
• Provides on the job training to junior officers on designs principles, construction techniques and maintenance techniques pre-contract and post contract management.
• Monitoring equipment and materials on site.
• Taking part in meetings relevant to construction on site issues.
• Inspecting of work done to identify deviations and take appropriate action.
• Undertakes any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Applicants should be registered with Engineers Registration Board.
• Five years of relevant work experience in building and construction.
• A Valid Class B Driver’s license is required.
• Experience in Concrete works.
