Job Description

The Botswana Police Service (BPS) is inviting applications from suitably qualified Botswana citizens for 60 permanent Office Cleaner positions at Botswana Police College in Otse and Kanye.

Key Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
– Cleaning and maintaining police offices and facilities.
– Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing and vacuuming floors.
– Dusting and cleaning furniture, windows, doors and other surfaces.
– Cleaning toilets and maintaining hygienic ablution facilities.
– Emptying waste bins and maintaining clean surroundings.
– Watering and maintaining office plants.
– Preparing tea and refreshments for staff and meetings.
– Performing general housekeeping and other assigned duties.

Requirements:
– Must be a Botswana citizen.
– Must have a Standard Seven Certificate (PSLE).
– Must have no criminal record.
– Must be physically and mentally fit.
– Applicants should be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits:
The position is on Salary Scale A3, with an annual basic salary of P34,740 to P39,456. Benefits include permanent and pensionable employment, 20 working days’ annual leave, medical aid, pension contributions, housing and upkeep allowance, and an optional group funeral scheme.
