Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic vision, direction, leadership and management in the School to implement and sustain the Institution’s strategic initiatives in learning, teaching, service, consultancy and research
• Foster relationships with communities, funders, and alumni to address the current and future aspirations of the Institution
• Resolve complex issues in the School pertaining to faculty, staff and students
• Train and educate undergraduate students using and developing new and appropriate teaching methods
• Participate in all academic activities of the department
• Serve on committees within the college and external professional organisations
• Initiate, develop and establish research programmes with other staff in the department

Requirements

• PhD will be an added advantage
• Masters Degree in any related programme
• Atleast five (5) years relevant lecturing experience in a tertiary institution will be an added advantage
• Research with peer-reviewed publications
• Registered with relevant professional bodies
