Key Responsibilities

• Run machines for different mesh designs and types
• Set welding frequency and voltage for strong, compliant welds
• Maintain pneumatic systems and auxiliary equipment, including wire straightening, cutting and bending machines
• Assemble, dismantle and repair machines; replace brakes, contacts and parts
• Find and repair defects in finished mesh
• Train interns and write SOPs for machine operation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience on mesh welding machines
• English is compulsory
• Knowledge of steel grades (Experience of knowing the steel to be used)
• No academic results required. Confirmation required where operated the Welded mesh Machine, reference letter. Machine explanation will be needed when you apply to understand if you have experience
• Willing to relocate to and work in Selebi-Phikwe
