Job Summary
The BONDS study is a project under the Researching Interventions and Implementation Strategies to Evaluate the Health and Development of Children affected by HIV in Sub-Saharan Africa (RISE). The Research Assistant will work closely with the Project Manager, Study Coordinator, Research Nurses, Senior Research Assistants, other Research Assistants, Drivers, and Data Management staff to facilitate study visits, administer neurodevelopmental assessments, complete study documentation, ensure data quality, and support participant retention throughout the study period. They will recruit mother-child pairs, conduct study follow-up visits for complete study visits with each mother-child pair during the period of the study.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- Certificate in Healthcare Assistance
- 1-2 years’ experience in a research environment
- Experience conducting participant interviews, questionnaires, or assessments preferred
- Experience using Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems preferred
- Experience in community-based research, participant tracing, or home visits is an advantage
- Fluency in Both Setswana and English
