Key Responsibilities:
– Responsible for operating a variety of water & waste management vehicles to collect and transport water, waste and recycling materials to disposal or storage facilities.
– Ability to safely operate mechanism for loading, compressing, and dumping refuse and recyclable materials.
– Assures that assigned truck is properly fuelled, equipped, lubricated, and serviced.
– Washes interior and exterior of assigned truck and reports needed repairs immediately.
– Maintain safe and efficient operation of water & waste collection and transport equipment and vehicles.
– Perform pre-trip/ post-trip vehicle inspections and complete daily work sheet for equipment operated.
– Complete daily work orders efficiently & record information accordingly, and keep work location in order.

Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years Extra heavy-duty driving experience with a reputable company
– Class EC driver’s license
– PRDP – Goods & Hazardous
– Outstanding driving and mechanics skills.
