Assistant Stock Controller – Ultimex Holdings

Job Description

To support the effective management and control of all company stocks (raw materials, packaging, spares and finished goods) by ensuring accurate recording, safekeeping, availability and timely replenishment to support uninterrupted milling operations and sales.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist with receiving, issuing, and recording of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
– Conduct daily stock counts and assist with monthly stock takes.
– Update stock cards and inventory system accurately.
– Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or variances.
– Assist with FIFO stock rotation and warehouse housekeeping.
– Source quotations and assist with purchasing of materials, spares and consumables as required.
– Raise purchase orders and follow up on deliveries with suppliers.
– Liaise with production, procurement, and sales on stock movements.

Requirements:
– Diploma in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or related field.
– Minimum 2 years’ experience in stock control, preferably in milling/FMCG/manufacturing.
– Working knowledge of inventory systems is required.
– Computer literate with good Excel skills.
– High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
