Job Description

Mandate

Ministry of Health exists to promote and provide integrated, holistic and sustainable preventative, curative, rehabilitative quality health service to the nation.

Job Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above position in the Ministry of Health, tenable at the Department of Corporate Services, Ministry Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting and reviewing health policies and regulations, coordinating between government departments and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with national health laws. Attending inter-ministerial meetings, preparing briefing documents for senior officials, and monitor implementation of health programs.

Requirements

Degree in Social Sciences majoring in Political Science and Administrative Studies, Public Administration and Development Studies. At least six (6) years’ experience in the relevant field, of which two (2) years must have been served as Health Officer I or equivalent.

D4 (P 255 948 – P282 120 per annum)
