Key Responsibilities
- Review procurement transactions for compliance with policies, authorities and regulations.
- Monitor thresholds, approvals, sourcing methods and tender evaluation processes.
- Conduct procurement audits, compliance assessments and governance reviews.
- Maintain compliance registers, issue-tracking mechanisms and corrective action follow-up.
- Promote ESG principles, responsible sourcing and sustainable supplier management.
- Prepare oversight reports for Management, Executive Committees and Board Committees.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in procurement governance, oversight, internal audit, legal compliance, risk management or supply chain governance.
- Experience in financial services, banking, development finance, public sector, state-owned enterprise or another regulated environment.
- Experience conducting procurement reviews, compliance assessments, audit engagements and governance reporting.
- ESG-focused procurement and sustainable sourcing experience will be highly advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
- CIPS Level 6, ISM, Procurement and Contract Management certifications or Governance, Risk and Compliance certifications.
