Job Summary

The Botswana Police Service is pleased to invite applications from suitable candidates for the post of Police Constable. The positions are tenable at various Police establishments around the country.

  • Prevent and Detect Crime
  • Repress Internal Disturbances
  • Maintain Security and Public Tranquillity
  • Apprehend Offenders
  • Bring Offenders to Justice
  • Duly enforce all written laws with which the Botswana Police Service is directly charged and to generally maintain peace.

Requirements

  • Be Botswana citizens
  • Be aged between 18 – 30 years
  • Be physically and mentally fit
  • Have no criminal record
  • Be of good character
  • Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18-25
  • Not be pregnant at the time of recruitment and must not fall pregnant throughout the duration of training.
  • Not have visible tattoos on their bodies.

Salary

B.1 P85 500 – P102 120 p/a (Entry), C.4 P102 312 – P117 528 p/a (During probation), C.3 P121 920 – P145 704 p/a (After confirmation)
