Redpath is the world’s premier full-service underground mining contractor. Redpath Botswana are excited to be looking for Underground Miners to fill various roles for the new Jwaneng Underground Mining Development Project.

Key Responsibilities
– Safely and efficiently operate machinery for development driving, installing ground support, and any other work that is required.
– Complete pre starts on equipment and report on maintenance issues.
– Identify and promote suggestions to increase productivity and/or reduce operating costs.
– Prepare the workplace for the oncoming shift person to continue operations without interference or obstruction.

Requirements
– Underground Decline Development Experience.
– Experience working for a Top Tier Mining Contractor.
– Minimum 5 years experience in Underground Mining.
– Driver’s Licence, First Aid & CPR certificate.
– Working at Heights certificate.
– Experience with Normet Sprayers and Sandvik Drills.
– Proven Safe and reliable operation of mobile mining equipment.
