Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming and assisting clients, visitors, and stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
- Capturing and processing new business applications, policy amendments, renewals, and related administrative data accurately on company systems.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate department, consultant, or service provider.
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments for clients, insurance advisors, and brokers.
- Receiving, reviewing, and processing documentation, including policy applications, claims forms, and customer correspondence.
- Providing clients with accurate information regarding insurance products, policy benefits, claims procedures, and company services.
- Maintaining and updating customer records and contact information within internal systems and databases.
- Managing incoming and outgoing emails, correspondence, and general office communication.
- Assisting with claims administration by ensuring all required forms and supporting documents are complete and submitted to the relevant department.
- Processing premium payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate payment records where applicable.
- Ensuring the reception area is well-organized, professional, and welcoming at all times.
- Delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance.
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in an insurance operations or similar administrative environment.
- Sound knowledge of administrative processes and procedures.
- Strong business administration and operational support skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
