Job Description

We are looking for a vigilant, responsible and detail-oriented Control Room Officer to monitor alarm signals, assess incidents and take immediate action to ensure the safety and security of our clients and their property. Job Summary: Type: full-time, Location: Gaborone, Category: Security, Closing Date: 2026-09-05. Key Responsibilities: Monitor alarm signals and CCTV alerts 24/7, Verify alarms and assess incidents accurately, Follow procedures and respond to alarms in a timely manner, Dispatch response officers and notify clients and relevant authorities when required, Maintain accurate logs and reports, Ensure excellent customer service. Requirements: Valid driver’s licence held for at least 2 years (advantageous), Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in alarm monitoring or control room environment (advantageous), Certificate in IT or related qualification, Knowledge of alarm systems, procedures and emergency response, Excellent communication skills, Ability to work shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays, Good computer skills and attention to detail, Clean criminal record.
