Key Responsibilities
– Construct and assemble mechanical systems or parts using raw materials, following blueprints, technical drawings, and company specifications.
– Operate lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, and other workshop equipment to manufacture or repair components.
– Inspect fabricated parts and assembled systems for accuracy, functionality, and safety compliant.
– Identify defects or worn components, perform repairs or replacements, and conduct routine maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.

Requirements
– Machineshop Engineering Certificate or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
– A minimum of five (5) years’ post-qualification experience as a fitter machinist.
– Vast knowledge on welding and fabrication.
– Proven knowledge and practical experience in fitter and turning.
