Job Description

The Ministry for State President, Defence and Security invites applications from highly motivated, well experienced and self-driven candidates to fill a vacant position tenable at Moshupa Public Library, Moshupa Village.

Key Responsibilities:
– Guards Government Buildings and property by patrolling the premises and ensures that windows and doors are securely closed and locked.
– Maintains a record of Government movable property taken in and out of the premises to prevent theft of Government property.
– Checks all fences and enclosures for unauthorized access and reporting any defects to the Supervisor.
– Reports all cases of theft and burglary immediately to the supervisor and police.
– Hoists the national Flag and lowers it at designated times.
– Records in the diary all suspicious occurrences to assist in cases of theft and Burglary.
– Undertakes any other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
To be considered for appointment to this position, candidates must have a minimum of Primary School Leaving Certificate (PSLE) Certificate. Direct entry. Experience in security services will be an added advantage.
