First Aid Trainer – Botswana Ash

Job Description

Botswana Ash (Pty) Ltd is a Soda Ash and Salt producing Company situated at Sua Pan in Botswana, approximately 180 km by tarred road northwest of Francistown. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of FIRST AID TRAINER (FIXED TERM CONTRACT 4 MONTHS).

Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for delivering quality First Aid Training at an advanced level and coaching Botash First Aiders for competency.

Key Responsibilities
– Provide advance First Aid training.
– Provide intensive first aid coaching.
– Simulation of emergency situations.
– Providing the trainees with accurate information regarding emergency aid.
– Delivering presentations in an eloquent yet simple manner.
– Demonstrating how to use equipment.

Requirements
– An Accredited trainer or Assessor Certification with at least 5 years post-qualification training experience.
– Experience in Mining First Aid training and familiarity with Botswana Chamber of Mines (BCM) competition procedures is an added advantage.
