OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
- Provide professional Risk Management inputs to the development and maintenance of BTC’s corporate strategy to support the delivery of shareholder value.
- Develop, implement and maintain Enterprise Risk Management, Security, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery policies and frameworks across BTC.
- Provide professional Risk Management advice to Management and ensure compliance with Risk Management and Security policies through effective monitoring, reporting, and recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of enterprise risks to enhance business resilience and support informed decision-making.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including National Security Agencies, to ensure compliance with national security requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Provide strategic leadership to the Risk Management function by developing a high-performing team and fostering a proactive risk management culture that supports BTC’s strategic objectives.
QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- A master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- 9 years’ professional experience in Risk Management and Security.
- 3 years’ managerial experience in Risk Management.
LEGAL CERTIFICATION / PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
- Post Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management.
- Membership of any other recognized professional association will be an added advantage.
