      – Principal Standards Engineer: Vacancy No. 4/2026/2027

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be expected to develop and promote adoption of national standards within a particular industrial, commercial or environmental sector and the modification of international standards to meet Botswana conditions and thereby promote the delivery of quality goods and services to consumers.

Minimum Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have at least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and at least two years practical experience in the development and/or implementation of standards. Light duty driving license is a requirement.

Specialised postgraduate training in standards research and development or implementation, recognised expertise in a particular industrial, commercial or environmental sector would be an advantage.
