Senior Warehouse Officer – Sandfire Motheo

Key Performance Areas:

• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Overseeing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity.
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
• Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
• Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Performing daily inspections of the warehouse grounds.
• Coordinating and maintaining supply chain fleet and equipment.
• Keeping the communication flow and coordinating with other departments and customers. 

Technical Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Inventory control and stock management abilities
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.

Qualifications and Experience

• A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• Membership of a Procurement Professional body (CIPS)
• Valid Botswana Class B Driver’s license
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the mining operations industry
