About the Role:

The Client Accounting & Advisory Manager is a senior leadership position responsible for managing client portfolios and leading technical accounting delivery to our clients, This is a hands-on role for a seasoned professional ready to elevate our CAS Section and strengthen client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a portfolio of accounting, tax, and company secretarial clients as their primary point of contact.
  • Prepare and review IFRS-compliant financial statements.
  • Provide proactive advisory services, including tax planning and process improvements.
  • Champion adoption of Draftworx, QuickBooks Online, and other digital accounting tools.
  • Oversee corporate tax filings and compliance.
  • Facilitate client meetings to discuss financial performance and regulatory matters.
  • Monitor internal KPIs such as turnaround times, workflow efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to firm-wide CAS policies and operational excellence initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • BICA membership.
  • Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong IFRS and Botswana GAAP knowledge.
  • Proven client relationship management skills.
  • Experience with Draftworx, QuickBooks Online, or similar systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Prior experience in a professional services/accounting firm environment preferred.
