We are seeking a seasoned Chief Technology & Digital Officer who embodies our values of service excellence, innovation, open and effective communication, integrity, teamwork and fun!
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Technology & Digital Officer will lead network planning & operations, information systems & digital initiatives and security management. Furthermore, the incumbent will be responsible for driving synergies from various initiatives both in network and information systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in IT/Engineering or related field
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field would be an added advantage
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in IT/Engineering or related field.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field would be an added advantage.
- Professional Certifications in a relevant field would be an added advantage.
- Sector experience would be preferred.
- Minimum of 12-15 years practical work experience, 5 of which must have been in management role.
- Proven expertise in leading information systems, network technology including digitization and transformation initiatives.
- Preferred industries include Telecommunications or Information Technology (IT).

From a technical perspective, the position requires the ability to set and deliver technology and digital transformation direction, shaping innovation and technology roadmaps while promoting agile ways of working. It also demands strong governance and resilience, including an understanding of regulatory requirements, proactive IT risk management, cyber security awareness, and business continuity practices.
The incumbent must be able to design and deploy fit-for-purpose infrastructure, oversee research and development initiatives, and manage service performance through clear QoS expectations (SLA/KPI). In addition, the role relies on effective portfolio, intellectual property, and partnership management, underpinned by disciplined planning and budgeting, a commitment to continuous improvement, and an unwavering customer focus.
