Job Summary
We are seeking a WordPress Developer with practical experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The candidate should be comfortable working with themes, plugins, performance optimization, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins
- Build responsive websites from design mockups
- Optimize websites for speed and SEO
- Implement security best practices (WAF, login protection, backups)
- Troubleshoot website errors and bugs
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways
- Manage hosting environments (cPanel, VPS, etc.)
- Perform website maintenance and updates
Requirements
- At least 1 year proven experience in WordPress development
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with custom theme development
- Experience working with popular plugins (Elementor, WooCommerce, etc.)
- Understanding of MySQL database structure
- Experience with website migration and deployment
- Basic knowledge of SEO and performance optimization
- Experience with custom plugin development
- Experience with REST API integrations
- Knowledge of headless WordPress
- Experience with security hardening and server optimization
