Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical/Structural Engineer to our structural engineering department. This role is pivotal in overseeing the planning, Scheduling, Design and execution of complex structural works, ensuring they meet rigorous safety standards and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Structural design process with Engineering to develop the complex structure.
- Manage and execute the complex structural works with scheduled time.
- Ensure visit construction sites regularly to check on work progress and help the team solve any difficult structural problems that pop up.
- Coordination with various stakeholders like Design team, Contractor, and Sub team members to ensure everyone is working in the same plan.
- Certified the contractor bills in a timely manner with proper protocols.
- Ensure all works comply with international (e.g., ASME, ASTM) and local building codes, as well as environmental and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years specifically in power plant construction.
- Excellent Managerial, Analytical, and communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced industrial environments.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCad.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
