Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Fitment Technician who is required to install and fit vehicle accessories. Installing and fitting the vehicle’s exterior, interior, media, and entertainment accessories. Fixing security related accessories. An excellent Technician must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. Must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs repairs, modifications and tests in accordance with manufacturer s instructions and repair station s established processes.
- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
- Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks).
- Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
- Keep logs on work and issues.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
- Provide accurate information on service / parts requirements.
Requirements
- Must have passed National Craft Certificate (NCC) in welding and Fabrication / Auto Mechanics / Auto Electrical as minimum.
- Must have 5 years’ experience and knowledge of workshop processes.
- Proven experience working as a Toyota Accessory fitter.
- Exceptional welding and Mechanical skill.
- Toyota Qualification will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet set targets, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Must have good people skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent.
- Must be able to listen and speak clearly on telephone.
- Energetic and fit enough to carry out the duties of the position.
- Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license.
- May be required to work overtime.
- May be required to participate in Development Programs.
