Job Description
Bothakga Burrow is a 100% citizen owned multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy firm which is headquartered in Gaborone. We provide consultancy services covering a broad spectrum of Engineering works to improve the quality and standard of living in the urban and rural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising daily site duties and workforce.
- Allocating tasks and monitoring productivity.
- Ensuring work is executed according to drawings and specifications.
- Controlling materials and tools.
- Maintaining daily work records and reports.
Requirements
- Technical Diploma in Constructional / Civil Engineering, or Building Technology or certification (Carpentry, Masonry, Steel, Concrete).
- Must have 8 years construction site experience with 4 years as a Site Foreman or Lead Tradesman.
- Must have hands-on experience in supervising site workers and subcontractors in infrastructure projects (roads, bridges and pipelines).
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Knowledgeable in construction methods and materials.
- Basic setting out and measurements, as well as understanding quality standards.
