Job Description

We are seeking an experienced graphic designer to join our Design & Typesetting department. In the role, you will be responsible for creating and adapting visually compelling content and preparing it for print and branding. Further you will operate the digital printing machines used in the Design & Typesetting department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create visually appealing artwork for print and branding or adapt existing artwork to the clients specifications
  • Create exciting content for marketing (Social Media, Email, Website etc)
  • Operation of digital printing machines
  • Proof-read and quality check artwork and print job before distribution
  • In-House meetings with clients to discuss design requirements
  • Processing jobs into production
  • Ensure all designs meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Production, Marketing) to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient delivery timelines

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Graphic design, Marketing or relevant field.
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in graphic design roles in print, marketing or advertising.
  • Proficiency in Coral Draw, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent typographic and layout skills.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong portfolio highlighting a range of design projects.
  • Communicates Effectively – conveys information and communicates ideas in a clear, concise and impactful manner
