Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the financial health, operational efficiency, and resource optimization of the organization. Strategic oversight and leadership over finance, procurement, inventory management, logistics, facilities, fleet management, and administration, ensuring that each function operates effectively and aligns with organizational strategic goals.
Key performances areas
OVERSIGHT ON THE DELIVERY OF THE FINANCE MANDATE
- Oversee the formulation, review and implementation of financial strategy, policies, rules, regulations, systems, processes and procedures.
- Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic goals and drive sustainable growth.
- Financial risk assessment and management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including quarterly and annual financial statements, in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee fundraising efforts, including debt financing, equity funding, and investor relations, ensuring adequate capital for operations and expansion.
OVERSIGHT OF THE PROCUREMENT, INVENTORY AND LOGISTICS MANDATE
- Oversee the formulation, review and implementation of supply chain policies, strategies, rules, regulations, systems, processes and procedures.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms and pricing.
- Lead overall monitoring of vendor performance, ensuring quality, delivery timelines, and compliance with procurement standards.
- Oversee inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts.
- Strengthening vendor risk management, including due diligence, performance monitoring, and ethical-conduct compliance.
OVERSIGHT ON THE DELIVERY OF THE FACILITIES SERVICES MANDATE
- Provide strategic leadership and advice in the delivery of facilities, fleet and general office administration services.
- Ensure efficient asset management, including maintenance of physical assets such as facilities and fleet, maximizing their safety, value and useful life.
- Ensure sustainable facilities and HSE compliance.
- Oversee fleet management, ensuring vehicles are efficiently utilized, maintained, and aligned with operational needs.
- Provide oversight into administrative functions, ensuring seamless support for day-to-day business operations.
GENERAL MANAGEMENT OF THE DIVISION
- Regular monitoring of the success of the division in reaching its goals and periodic performance reporting to the CEO and Board.
- Promote and support strong and smooth cross-functional exchanges among the departments/units within the division.
- Undertake any other duties as delegated by the CEO.

Qualifications & Experience
The candidates should have attained the following:
- A master’s degree in finance or business administration and/or a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS, ACPA or equivalent).
- Twelve (12) years working experience required in a similar organization or sector/industry of which 5 years should have been in senior management.
