About the Role
As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) you will provide strategic financial leadership across our hybrid financial institution encompassing commercial and development banking, insurance brokerage, and fund administration. You will drive financial strategy, governance, and value management, ensuring fiscal sustainability, compliance, and alignment with the Bank’s long-term strategic objectives, ESG goals, and operational transformation initiatives.

Supervises Manager – Financial Accounting, Manager – Procurement & Manager – Business Performance
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the Group’s financial strategy, providing strategic advice to the CEO, Board, and ExCo to support growth, investment, and capital optimisation.
  • Financial Resource Management: Oversee liquidity, capital structure, funding, and financial planning to ensure solvency, sustainability, and efficient working capital management.
  • Financial Performance Management: Drive financial performance through cost discipline, resource optimisation, and delivery of key metrics including ROE, ROA, and cost efficiency.
  • Financial Reporting and Governance: Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective audit and governance oversight across the Group.
  • Procurement and Value Management: Provide strategic oversight of procurement to optimise value, cost efficiency, ESG compliance, and transparent sourcing practices.
  • Fund Administration: Oversee fund administration and cross-border financial operations, supporting investor relations, capital pooling, and regulatory compliance.
  • ESG and Sustainable Finance Integration: Embed ESG and sustainable finance principles into financial management, procurement, investment frameworks, and reporting.
  • Leadership and Organisational Development: Lead and develop high-performing finance and procurement teams while representing the institution with key stakeholders and regulators.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent, with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a postgraduate degree (MBA, MSc Finance) or FCA/FCCA/FCPA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in financial management, including at least 5 years in executive leadership or senior management within financial services.
  • Proven expertise in financial strategy, capital management, cross-border financing, procurement governance, and fund administration.
  • Knowledge of ESG integration and sustainable finance instruments is advantageous.
