DIESEL MECHANIC – AECI BOTSWANA (PTY) LTD – JWANENG DEBSWANA MINE (3 YEAR CONTRACT)
AECI Botswana (Pty) Ltd, an explosives and specialty chemicals company focused on providing products and services to a broad spectrum of customers in the mining, manufacturing and agricultural sectors, has the following vacancy at Jwaneng Debswana Mine: Diesel Mechanic.
Core Responsibilities
Fix and mobile equipment maintenance, service and inspections.
Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMUs) calibrations.
Assist the Maintenance Manager with engineering or capital projects management.
Maintenance related monthly reporting to Maintenance and Site Managers.
Maintenance scheduling and forecasting.
Equipment breakdown repairs and planned maintenance.
Critical and other spares management.
Equipment availabilities management.
Carry out maintenance of light duty vehicles.
Assist the Maintenance Manager to implement the maintenance strategy and manage assets.
Maintenance related storekeeping.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Requirements
At least a Diploma or NCC in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
At least 4 years’ experience in a similar explosives equipment maintenance environment.
Knowledge of MMUs and pump maintenance.
Valid class B driver’s licence.
Experience in maintenance of explosives manufacturing plants.
Must be a Batswana.
Must be able to speak Setswana and English fluently.
Knowledge and experience in AECI products is an added advantage.
