Job Description

MECHANICAL DRAUGHTSMAN

A Francistown based Engineering Company requires the services of a skilled and dynamic mechanical Draughtsman. The applicant should have the following qualification and experience.

• A National Senior Certificate in Mechanical Draughting.
• At least 4 years’ experience preferably in the draughting of trackless Mining Vehicles.
• Must have thorough understanding and use of the following computer software.

AUTO DESK PRODUCTS

• Inventor Professional
• Inventor Finite Element Analysis
• AutoCAD Mechanical
• Frame maker
• Product Design Suite
• Microsoft office including PowerPoint presentations.
• Experience in the drawing of vehicle Electrical systems
• Experience in the drawing of advanced Hydraulic systems.
• Experience in drawing office practice and quality systems
• Must be experienced in the compilation of technical documents such as Operational Manuals, Risk Assessments, and Spare Parts Manuals.
• Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel outside Botswana.
• Must have a valid Class B driver’s licence.
