Job Description
BoFiNet is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pricing Analyst to join our team. The position reports to the Head of Business Development. The main purpose of the job entails developing and implementing pricing strategies that balance profitability, market competitiveness, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will directly impact on our revenue streams, profitability and customer relationships.
Key performances areas
Pricing Strategy Development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create products and services pricing models.
• Analyze competitor pricing, market trends, and customer preferences.
• Address pricing issues relevant to the setting and achievement of Sales, Network Utilisation and Revenue objectives.
• Formulate pricing strategies that maximise revenue while maintaining competitiveness.
Pricing Analysis and OptimisationÂ
• Evaluate existing pricing structures and identify areas for improvement.
• Production of pricing models ensuring that pricing supports or promotes the overall position of the company whilst not overloading the network or missing revenue opportunities.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine optimal price points.
• Monitor pricing performance and adjust strategies as needed.
• Propose, manage and maintain/withdraw, as required, pricing tools including Price books and configurators
Market ResearchÂ
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, pricing trends, and technological advancements.
• Understand customer segments and their willingness to pay.
• Use market insights to inform pricing decisions.
Contract Pricing and NegotiationÂ
• Assist in contract negotiations with clients.
• Evaluate pricing terms and conditions to ensure profitability.
• Provide recommendations for pricing adjustments based on contract terms
Policy Development
• Develop, maintain, and adhere to policies related to pricing and business case development.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Present findings and recommendations to Senior management, Executives, and other stakeholders clearly and compellingly.
• Prepare pricing reports and presentations for management.
• Communicate pricing changes and proposals to key stakeholders to ensure that the pricing is understandable, attractive, and acceptable to target customers.
• Monitor pricing compliance and address any discrepancies.
• Engage relevant stakeholders i.e. finance and technology to get cost inputs and financial reports to assist in pricing

Academic qualifications
The candidates should have attained the following:
- • Bachelor’s degree in: Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or other related quantitative field.
- • Additional certifications in Financial Modelling and Data Analytics will be an added advantage.
- • 5 years of experience in pricing analysis of which 3 years are at a managerial role.
