Job Description

Master Farmer Feeds (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for a fully qualified and experienced Standard Operating Procedure Compliance Officer at its Feed Mill, Nutri Feeds Botswana in Pilane. This vacancy is open for Botswana citizens only.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

      • Gather information (written and oral) for developing documented procedures.
      • Ensure that documents contain accurate details and instructions corresponding with the activity and that they adhere to all GMP and ISO requirements.
      • Responsible to trouble shoot and identify discrepancies in multi discipline activities.
      • Draft and prepare clear, concise and accurate documented procedures
      • Tracking pending documentation and notifying the involved party for taking appropriate action/s.
      • Manual follow-up with internal departments in diversified disciplines to get an expected schedule of completion.
      • Routing and tracking of documents for approval.
      • Release and distribute documentation for implementation.
      • Ensure current documentation revisions are available and in use.
      • Analyse document management and control problems, reach sound conclusions and recommend improved policies and procedures.
      • Identification of obsolete documents and removal from system.
      • Identify and lead required documentation revisions
      • Address revision suggestion items
      • Verify compilation of new employee orientation and induction training documents.
      • Organization and maintenance of employee SOP training documents, ensuring company-wide training compliance
      • Managing training records in association with released documents and check implementation status.
      • Verify, capture and register all company employee’s job descriptions
      • Assist & facilitate job description authorization process
      • Distribute authorized job descriptions for implementation and follow up on progress
      • Member of the audit team, schedule and perform assigned internal audit tasks
      • Support continuous improvement efforts to ensure documentation is efficient and compliant.
      • Verify, analyse and capture monthly tonnage estimated sales

To qualify for the position, candidates will require the following:

  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science and Technology or Bachelor of Science in Animal Science or equivalent from a recognised institution
  • 3 years’ experience in FMCG environment and/or similar role
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Excellent Computer Literacy
  • Document review and procedural writing experience
  • Knowledge of desired ISO and GMP regulations
  • Strong physical fitness and the ability to respond to emergency situations, if required.
  • Must be able to work shifts.
