Role Summary
Botswana Life is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill in the role of Cashbook Officer. The role exists to carry out treasury transactions including payment processing (local and foreign), reconciliations, resolving problems, queries and producing reports.
Role Responsibilities
- Monthly Reconciliation of bank accounts (Including bank error account) within the agreed timelines.
- Follow up bank errors with the bank.
- Credit card expenses administration.
- Sundry Receipts Reallocation.
- Maintain an inventory for Botswana life cheques (including branches) and making sure that there are no stock outs. The task involves ordering and custody of cheques.
- Reconcile unallocated cash account.
- Maintain petty cash for Branches and Head Office and reconcile it on a monthly basis.
- Attend to queries.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Experience and Role-Specific Knowledge
- AAT or equivalent.
