KPMG in Botswana invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following position:
Manager – Audit
Reporting to Audit Partners, successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning and managing audit engagements
- Reviewing financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS Accounting Standards.
- Carrying out special assurance assignments as and when required
- Establishing and maintaining sound working relationships with client counterparts
- Managing audit costs and working capital
Skills and Attributes
- Excellent analytical skills
- Abi lity to communicate effectively with both clients and staff is critical
- Demonstrate knowledge of International Standards on Auditing and the interpretation of IFRS Accounting Standards
- Critical thinking
- Analytical skills
- Project management skills
Qualifications and experience required for the role:
- Be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant |CA, ACCA or CPA)
- Must have a minimum of one year of managerial experience gained from a Big 4 audit firm.
