RED EAST CONSTRUCTION is looking for the following translators

Job Summary:

The Translator is responsible for providing accurate and culturally appropriate translations between two or more languages. Using your exceptional language skills and cultural knowledge, you will facilitate clear and effective communication in a wide range of settings, including business, legal, medical, and technical domains. As a key member of our translation team, you will contribute to the success of our clients by ensuring their written and verbal content is accurately conveyed across linguistic and cultural barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

– Translate a variety of documents, including contracts, manuals, reports, marketing materials, and websites, from the source language to the target language
– Interpret spoken language during meetings, conferences, and other business interactions
– Maintain consistency in terminology, style, and formatting across translation projects
– Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and contextually appropriate translations
– Proofread and edit translations to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies
– Manage project timelines and deadlines to deliver high-quality translations within the specified timeframes
– Research industry-specific terminology, references, and cultural nuances to enhance translation quality
– Participate in translation team meetings and provide feedback to improve processes and practices
– Stay up-to-date on the latest translation technologies, tools, and best practices
– Adhere to confidentiality and data security protocols when handling sensitive information

Required Skills and Experience:

– Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, translation studies, or a related field
– Fluency in at least two languages, with a demonstrated expertise in the source and target languages
– 3-5 years of professional translation experience, preferably in a business or technical environment
– Strong research and analytical skills to understand the context and nuances of the source material
– Excellent written and oral communication skills in both the source and target languages
– Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in terminology, formatting, and style
– Proficient in using computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and other relevant software
– Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the target audience’s norms and preferences
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet tight deadlines
– Certification from a recognized translation institute or association is preferred

Applicants for the above vacancies should have a Diploma or similar qualifications and relevant working experience of 3 years and above.
