Redpath is the world’s premier full-service underground mining contractor. Redpath Botswana are excited to be looking for a (1) Project Manager for the new Jwaneng Underground Mining Development Project.

The position:

The role as a Project Manager is responsible for achieving project objectives and targets to ensure the successful execution of the project. Responsibilities can include project planning and managing, ensuring health and safety systems are complied with, tracking projects deliverables, and providing leadership and direction to the project team.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Lead the project to achieve the project objectives and targets
• Manage operating plans detailing project documentation, administration, financial, commercial and HR processes
• Manage project budget
• In-depth and extensive knowledge and application of contemporary underground mining practices to maximise safety and productivity
• Lead continuous improvement and encourage an environment of innovation
