Clover Chemical Industries [Pty] Ltd, Importer and Supplier of various Medical and Laboratory Equipments is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the above position.
Salary: As per the Industry Standards.
Leave: 22 days per annum.

Qualifications:

Master of Science in Biochemistry, PhD; Molecular and cellular biology, genetics and virology.

Key Responsibilities of This Role:
•Acquire knowledge of the application of product portfolio of the Laboratory Division
• Develop an in-depth understanding of our customer base and the market opportunities
• Assist in the support of customers via guiding the application of the products
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes and ensure these requirements are communicated effectively to the top Management
• Using strong analytical reasoning to understand end user’s requirements and transforming them into Sales opportunity
• Help with the development of end user training materials and presentation
• Represent the company at various conferences and distributor meetings
• Develop expert knowledge on the configuration and setup of the product portfolio of the Laboratory Division
• Seek to develop strong working relationships with end users by holding customer meetings around the country and adoption of new technologies
• Working with subordinate employees and Company Management to ensure a common understanding of the needs of the laboratory division
• Providing advice, guidance and workarounds to end users
• Talking to end users and helping to diagnose issues or gather requirements for solutions
• Occasional travel to our customer sites or potential customers in Botswana and suppliers around the World
• Any other duties assigned by the management which falls into your scope of work.

Required Competencies and Skill:
• Computer Operations like MS-DOS, MS Office, adobe laboratory
•Teaching proteomics and molecular biology laboratory
• Good laboratory practice (GLP), skilled in general laboratory work, sample preparation, processing, analysis and interpretation of results
• Sample preparation of 2-D electrophoresis and mass spectrometry, peptide mass fingerprinting, tandem mass spectrometry
• Nano-LC system, mass spectrometry (MALDIMSTOF-TOF, QQQ Q-TQF), DDA, SRM, iTRAQ, SILAC, proteomic data analysis, western blotting. ELISA, cell cultures, body fluids immunodepletion.
