John Mackenzie School is an independent, co-educational, English medium school situated in Francistown, Botswana. The school which was established in 1899 has a rich, almost 125-year-old history with classes ranging from Pre ÂPrimary to Form Six, all following the international syllabuses of the University of Cambridge. We offer Cambridge Primary Checkpoint, IGCSE, AS and A levels.

HIGH SCHOOL POSTS
Vacancies will exist for experienced teachers of the Cambridge International IGCSE, AS & A level syllabuses in French, English Language, English Literature, Travel & Tourism, Business Studies, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and ICT
Applicants must have:
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience in teaching the Cambridge International IGCSE, AS and A level syllabuses
- Experience coaching an activity from the school’s extensive extraÂmural programme.
PRIMARY SCHOOL POSTS
Pre-Primary, Transition, Learner Support & Standards 1 to Standard 7
Vacancies will exist for several teaching positions in our Pre-Primary and Primary School. The successful applicants should hold at least a Diploma in Education from a recognised teacher training institution.
Experience in teaching the Cambridge syllabuses at an English Medium Primary School will be an added advantage.
It is expected that all teachers will participate in the school’s extensive extra-mural programme.
