Barloworld Equipment is a wholly owned subsidiary of Barloworld Equipment Southern Africa, we are the sole dealership of Caterpillar earthmoving equipment in Southern Africa. Barloworld Equipment Botswana would like to invite suitable candidates for the following positions tenable in Ghanzi & Gaborone.
AUTO ELECTRICIAN (GHANZI)

Key Outputs

Carry out auto-electrical repairs and maintenance to the required standards.
Troubleshooting, analyzing, and finding the root causes for failures on electric &. electronic components
Quickly and efficiently deal with all customer auto electrical breakdowns
⦁ Compile accurate customer service reports
⦁ Comply to Company and customer-safe work practices.
⦁ Remove and install auto electrical and electronic components.
⦁ Manage own administration (labor booking, service reports, part returns)
⦁ Control contamination

Requirements & Competencies

Minimum National Craft Certificate in Auto Electrical/Electrics
5 years post qualification experience on electric and electronic systems (Caterpillar machines) Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on electrical and electronic systems
Computer literate
• Valid Driver’s License – Class B
