Job Description
This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the Mine, employees, and customers by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Key Performance Areas
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points and permitting entry.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers.
- Report any suspicious behaviours and happenings to Security Supervisor.
- Conduct investigations and recommends appropriate corrective action.
- Conduct security searches.
- Maintain organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Adherence to Safety, Health, and Environment standards & Procedures.

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma in Security Management or related field.
- Valid Botswana Class B drivers’ licence
- Two years’ related experience preferably in a Mining environment
