General Manager – Revive Pitstop Cafe

Job Description

General Manager needed at Revive, Pitstop Café, Francistown.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
– Recruiting, training and supervising staff
– Creating staff rotation schedules
– Planning specials and meals
– Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety
– Promoting and marketing business
– Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies when needed
– Over seeing all FOH and BOH staff and their duties
– Handling customer enquiries and complaints
– Greeting and advising customers
– Problem solving
– Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant

Requirements:
– A relevant tertiary qualification in either Management or Hospitality
– At least 2 years Food and Beverage Management experience
– Previous restaurant experience
– Sound knowledge of food and cooking methods
– Expert knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control
– Valid drivers license
– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), practising honest communication.
– Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control
– Leadership skills with passion for development

Working hours are likely to be long and irregular. You may also be required to work shifts and cover other roles from time to time.
